Birdeye Data has released two new APIs that connect Solana-wide market activity with the individual wallets behind token trading.
The Blockchain Market Metrics API provides a daily view of trading volume, trade count, active trading tokens, and stablecoin market capitalization across Solana. The Wallet Tags Tracker Details API then lets developers drill into token-level time buckets and identify which tagged wallets bought or sold.
Together, the endpoints give AI agents, trading terminals, wallets, analytics platforms, and monitoring systems a clearer path from detecting market activity to understanding the actors behind it.
The Blockchain Market Metrics endpoint uses GET /market/v1/blockchain-metrics to return blockchain-level market data in daily time buckets.
Each bucket includes:
volume_usd: Total trading volume in USD during the daytrade_count: Total number of trades during the dayactive_trading_tokens: Number of tokens with at least one tradestable_coin_market_cap: Total Solana stablecoin market capitalization at the end of the dayunix_time: UTC timestamp marking the beginning of the bucketTrading volume, trade count, and active-token data are available from January 1, 2022. Stablecoin market capitalization data are available from May 22, 2025.
Developers can anchor results to a reference Unix timestamp, move backward or forward through time, and return up to 10 daily records per request.
The Wallet Tags Tracker Details endpoint uses GET /token/v1/wallet-tags-tracker/details to show the individual tagged wallets active in each token time bucket.
Each wallet row can include:
This turns a summary-level volume spike into a wallet-level view of who participated. Builders can investigate activity from developers, snipers, bundlers, insiders, and smart traders, or follow a known list of wallet addresses across time.
The endpoint requires a Solana token mint, a starting Unix timestamp, and a time frame. The end time is optional and defaults to the current time.
Developers can use:
tags to focus on selected wallet cohortswallets to track a specific list of up to 50 addressesmin_volume_usd to remove low-volume wallet activitytop_10_holder=true to return wallets from the token’s top-10-holder set and flag them with is_top_10_holderlimit_wallet to control the number of wallet rows returned per bucket, up to 50limit_bucket to control the number of buckets returned, up to 300The API supports second, minute, hour, daily, weekly, and monthly buckets. Maximum query ranges depend on the selected time frame: second intervals support up to 30 days, minute intervals up to 60 days, hour intervals up to 90 days, and daily, weekly, or monthly intervals up to 365 days.
When additional buckets are available, applications can pass next_time_from back as time_from to continue forward.
The two APIs support a natural investigation flow.
Start with blockchain-level metrics to identify changes in Solana trading volume, trade frequency, active-token participation, or stablecoin market capitalization. Then use the wallet-level details endpoint to inspect a relevant token and time window.
This allows applications to move from questions such as “Did Solana activity increase?” to “Which tagged wallets drove this token move?” without building separate market and wallet-behavior pipelines.
Both APIs currently support Solana and are available on Lite, Starter, Premium, Business, and Enterprise packages.
Blockchain Market Metrics currently returns daily data and up to 10 records per request.
Wallet Tags Tracker Details supports up to 50 wallet filters, 50 wallet rows per bucket, and 300 buckets per request. Some highly held or high-cost tokens, including wSOL, USDC, USDT, and BONK, are not supported.
