Birdeye Data Services Now Supports Aptos Data API and WebSockets
Birdeye Data Services now provides real-time and historical Aptos blockchain data via REST APIs and WebSockets, enabling dashboards, trading bots, analytics tools, and DeFi apps.

Birdeye Data Services (BDS) now supports Aptos across both REST APIs and real-time WebSocket streams. Builders can ship Aptos dashboards, trading bots, explorers, analytics products, and DeFi applications without waiting on extra indexing infrastructure.
With this release, Aptos developers get the same BDS experience teams already rely on across other supported chains: fast, normalized, production-grade blockchain data, delivered through a chain-agnostic data API.
What BDS Supports on Aptos
BDS provides a complete Aptos data API suite, covering the primitives most applications need from day one.
Aptos REST APIs
Use BDS REST APIs to power:
- Real-time token pricing (single + batch)
- Historical pricing
- OHLCV candles (token, pair, base/quote)
- Trades & transaction feeds (token-level, pair-level, filtered views)
- All-time and historical trade data
- Derived trade metrics (price change, volume change over time)
- Token discovery & search (token lists, filtering, search)
- Token metadata & overviews (symbol, name, decimals, market stats)
- Pair & liquidity context for DEX markets
This setup supports everything from a simple Aptos token price page to a full-featured Aptos trading terminal, without stitching together multiple data providers.
Aptos WebSocket Streaming
For low-latency and real-time use cases, BDS WebSockets stream live Aptos events including:
- Live price / OHLCV updates
- Real-time trades / tx updates
- Base-quote price streams
- New pair signals
- Large trade tracking
- Wallet activity streams
If you’re building alerts, trading bots, real-time dashboards, or onchain monitoring tools, this is the backbone.
Why This Matters for Builders
Aptos is designed for high throughput and low latency, using a pipelined execution model and parallel transaction processing (Block-STM). While this architecture unlocks strong onchain performance, applications still depend on clean, real-time Aptos data to fully leverage that speed.
BDS complements Aptos by providing:
- Reliable Aptos market data coverage without maintaining custom indexers
- Consistent API response formats across chains, simplifying multi-chain deployments
- Unified access to historical and real-time blockchain data
- Infrastructure that scales as Aptos ecosystem activity grows
Start building on Aptos
- Get an API key: Log in to the BDS dashboard, generate your key, and you’re ready.
- Query Aptos via REST (example): Use existing BDS endpoints and set the chain header to
aptosto access Aptos token and market data. - Stream Aptos via WebSocket (example): Connect to the BDS WebSocket and subscribe to the Aptos stream types you need.
